Unit 01 · Consulting

Business process optimization that ends in a decision, not a slide deck

We map how work actually flows, find the step that is costing you, and recommend the simplest effective fix. Sometimes that is a new system. Often it is a clearer owner and a better hand-off.

When this is the right answer

Signs you need this

You know it is slow, but not why

Work passes through four people and three tools, and nobody can say where the days go.

Growth is exposing process gaps

What worked at eight people breaks at twenty-five: hand-offs, ownership, quality.

You are about to buy software or hire

A short diagnostic is cheaper than building or hiring against the wrong problem.

You are considering outsourcing

You need to know whether the function is documented and stable enough to hand over.

Scope

What is included

How it is delivered

People, process and technology

People

Led by senior consultants who interview your team, review real work samples and stay accountable for the recommendation. If the answer includes added capacity, we scope those roles with you rather than assuming them.

Process

Interviews, shadowing and sampling of real cases, not questionnaires alone. Findings are tied to a measurable baseline so progress can be proven later.

Technology

We are tool-agnostic at this stage. Recommendations start with what you already own and add technology only where it demonstrably earns its cost.

Deliverables

What you receive

  1. 01Written problem diagnosis with root causes
  2. 02Current-state and target-state workflow maps
  3. 03Ranked recommendations with effort, cost band and risk
  4. 04Resource estimate including any people required
  5. 05Implementation roadmap and commercial proposal

Commercial model

Fixed-fee diagnostic

Scope, duration and price are agreed in writing before work starts, so the diagnostic carries no open-ended consulting fees.

Ways to engage

  • Operations review. A focused look at one function or workflow.
  • Full operational audit. Cross-functional review with a prioritized roadmap.
  • Outsourcing assessment. Readiness, structure options and control model for handing over a function.

Questions

Good to know

How long does a diagnostic take?

It depends on the number of functions and systems involved. We state duration and price in the written scope before anything starts, rather than quoting a generic timeline here.

Will you recommend your own services?

The diagnosis is independent of what we sell. The recommendation may be a process change you implement yourself. If it includes work we can do, the proposal says so and says why.

What do you need from us?

Access to the people who run the process, a sample of recent real cases, and read-only access to the relevant systems under a confidentiality agreement.

Next step

Tell us what is slowing your business down.

A Business Operations Review is a straightforward conversation about the problem. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
